New car models for 2015

The festive season has come and gone, but what a perfect time it is to wish all our customers and website visitors a happy new year.

The start of a year is often a popular time for buying a new car, so we’ve put together a helpful guide to let you know what models to watch out for in 2015.  Don’t forget, if you have an old or damaged car lying around in your garage, give us a call at BMS Salvage, and we’ll give you a great quote for your unwanted vehicle and even take it away for free.  With a bit of extra cash up your sleeve, you will be in a better position to afford a better car that will make driving a breeze.

Small cars

Ford Ka

An extremely popular car with drivers of all ages, the new Ford Ka is expected to arrive late 2015.  The five-door-only model will set you back around £8,000.

Honda Jazz

A zippy little car with fantastic fuel economy, you can expect yet another improved model in summertime this year.  The key selling point of the new model will be its more spacious cabin.

Hyundai i20

Hyundai is loved by motorists looking for good value for money.  The new i20 will be out around March, but most of the changes will be about giving it better styling and refinement.

Vauxhall Corsa

The imminent arrival of the new Corsa has many young drivers excited.  The new model will feature three-cylinder engines, plus a major overhaul to the chassis and cabin.

Family cars

Toyota Mirai

Toyota has been making reliable family vehicles for years and its latest model, the Toyota Mirai, is full of innovation.  It features two hydrogen fuel tanks that can be filled in just three minutes.  Expect its grand arrival at around late summer.

Vauxhall Astra

Another household name in the family vehicle market, the brand new Vauxhall Astra will be launched late 2015.  Apart from the obvious marketing point around doing your bit to support our local car manufacturing industry, Vauxhall also promises this vehicle to be a worthy competitor to the Ford Focus in every department.  At a starting price of £12,995, it should prove to be a hit with British families.

Volkswagen Golf GTE

If you want a car that’s zippy and looks great for transporting the kids, then a Volkswagen is a pretty good choice. The new Golf GTE is set to arrive in spring this year, and it will be the first plug-in hybrid car from VW.  Its key selling points are great performance, fuel economy and a lower tax bill.  Now, try to beat that!

Luxury Cars

If you are lucky enough to be shopping for a luxury car, then a BMW 7 Series might just be the car of your dreams.  Scheduled to hit the market late this year, the new series will feature abundance of new technology, including touch-screens, iDrive plus carbon bodywork.

SUVs

Hyundai ix35

Hyundai has experienced fantastic success with the ix35.  It will release a new model around July, with the aim of beating the Nissan Qashqai in popularity stakes.
