2015 Car Shows Not to be Missed

If you are passionate about cars then attending a car show is a fantastic way to find out about the latest vehicles and driving technology available.  You will often be able to get up close or even sit inside displayed vehicles, which mean you can get a feel for dream cars that might not be currently within your reach financially.

There are a number of car shows on each year, and here are of the highlights of 2015.

The Performance Car Show

A recent event held at the NEC at Birmingham, The Performance Car Show in association with Autocar and PistonHeads.com was the ultimate occasion for those who dream about Lamborghinis, Ferraris and Porsches. The show featured some of the world’s most expensive and rarest vehicles as well as interviews with famous names in motorsports. Aside from brands already mentioned, other exhibitors included Mercedes, Audi and BMW. If you missed this show, then make sure you subscribe to their updates so you can attend next year.

Motorexpo London

Held at Canary Wharf in London, from 8th to 14th June 2015, this free event is in its 20th year. Although the exhibitor list is yet to be announced, you can expect a display of the latest vehicles and technology at the event.

As a guide, star exhibitors in the 2014 event included Aston Martin, Bentley, BMW, Imperials, Infiniti, Jaguar, Landrover, Lexus, Lotus, Maserati, McLaren, Mini, Porsche, Tesla and Rolls Royce. Of course, the event isn’t all about luxury vehicles, so you can expect other manufacturers to put on a great show as well.

Car Fest

For a car show of a different kind, try Car Fest. Essentially a festival with music, food and cars, it is a fantastic day out for the whole family. Car Fest is a great cause too and raises money for BBC’s Children in Need.

As per last year, attendees will get to see and even ride in new cars and old favourites.  Car clubs will display a wide range of vehicles and you will be able to chat to their owners.

Car Fest South will be held at Laverstoke Park Farm, Hampshire from 28th to 30th August, while Car Fest North will be held at Oulton Park, Cheshire from 31st July to 2nd August.

Top Gear Arena Tour

If you love the TV series, then you would definitely get a kick out of attending a Top Gear Live Arena Show.  Held in Liverpool (13th-15th February), Newcastle (20th – 22nd February), Belfast (22nd – 24th May), Sheffield (5th – 7th June) and London (28th – 29th November), you will get to see the presenters live and see first-hand what goes into the making of the TV show. There will be lots of incredible stunts and analysis of some of the world’s most expensive supercars as well.

One common side effect of attending car shows is that you will walk away wanting a better car. And a way to help you achieve this goal is to get rid of your old car. If you contact BMS Salvage, they will offer you a competitive quote and take the unwanted vehicle off your hands for free.

Tickets for motor events often sell out fast, so make sure you get yours as soon as you can!
